Site Navigation Made Easier and More Convenient

WASHINGTON, DC – The Certified Automotive Parts Association (CAPA) has recently enhanced their website to include a new menu bar which allows for easier access to information contained within the site.

Anyone who accesses will see an expanded “About CAPA” section on the menu bar, which will direct the user to a CAPA Overview, information on what CAPA certifies; the certification process; CAPA Board and Technical Committee Members and an area to join the CAPA mailing list.

The “CAPA News” section has been broken out into press releases, articles and reports making this information more readily accessible. The “Parts” section includes the database and seal number interactive search features; part updates and the online CAPA Quality Complaint Form. Users can easily fill out this form and submit it directly to CAPA for action and follow-up electronically. CAPA contact information can now be found on every page.

“CAPA realizes the importance of having its information readily available to the public,” stated Jack Gillis, executive director of the non-profit association. “The website allows us to post important updates, part information and reports on a real-time basis.”

The Certified Automotive Parts Association, founded in 1987, is the nation’s only independent, non-profit, third party crash parts quality certification organization. CAPA certification identifies, for both consumers and the industry, those parts that meet our high quality standards for fit, form, finish, material content and corrosion resistance.
